The international seminar on "Methods of Detection and Investigation of Cybercrime" was held in Kyiv, organized by the Interagency Research and Scientific Center for problems on combating organized crime at the National Security and Defense Council of Ukraine with a support of the European Commission's TAIEX Program (Technical Assistance and Information Exchange Instrument).
The forum was attended by the heads of structural divisions of the cyber police of Poland, Finland, Romania, Spain, Estonia and representatives of the cyber police of Ukraine from all regions, investigators and other specialists in the field of cybercrime abatement.
During the event, the main stages of investigation of cybercrime, peculiarities of the collection and using of electronic evidence were analyzed, the principles of international cooperation of law enforcement agencies in the fight against cybercrime were outlined.
The moderator of the event was the leading researcher at the Center, associate professor M. Hutsaliuk. An active participant in the seminar was also the leading researcher of the Center, candidate of sciences, senior researcher V. Havlovskyi.
